POSCO E&C’s first cable stayed bridge over the sea that improved transportation in island regions.
Jido-Imjado Bridge Construction Project, Korea was the first cable stayed bridge built over the sea that reduced the travel time from one hour by a vessel to five minutes by car, significantly improving the transportation system for local island residents.
In addition, POSCO E&C used high-strength steel and won the Best Construction Project Award in a Symposium held by the Korean Society of Steel Construction.

East Breakwater Construction Works For The Ulsan Port
Building of the world-class oil hub in Ulsan port.
The 1.42km breakwater facility in the new southern port of Ulsan along the coast of Ulsan is a project to protect the second Northeast Asia oil hub business complex from the mighty waves that come from the southeast.
Once the breakwater facility is built, the second phase of the oil hub project will gain momentum, safeguard moored vessels and nearby facilities from sea waves, and make it more convenient for visitors to use the facility.

Waste-to-Energy Plant in Krakow, Poland
The biggest Waste-to-Energy facility in Poland. This facility generates Electric power and heat using wastes. It has the uninjury record during construction and green energy certification. Also, it is operating smoothly without defects.
The Krakow waste incinerator in Poland is the largest waste treatment plant in the country that can process 220,000 tons of municipal waste in a year. They then use the energy obtained in the process to provide electricity and heat to nearby areas.
POSCO E&C received the zero defects ,zero accidents certification in the safety and environmental assessment by the Krakow City Labor Office and another inspection by the regional Environmental Protection Agency thanks to their systematic control of factory systems that complies with the European environmental standards.

Donghae Nambu Line(Railroad) Deokha train depot
The largest railway vehicle base in Korea.
Busan-Ulsan Deokha vehicle base on the Donghae Nambu line is the railway facility that manages trains that travel along the Donghae Line, Jungang Line, and the Daegu Metro line.
The railway vehicle base built on a land area of 34,198m2 is comprised of a low-maintenance plant where they conduct daily inspections like simple checks and cleaning, a high-maintenance plant where they disconnect and examine trains that have reached the inspection cycle, and a management building that supervises the entire vehicle base, and 13 attached buildings.
